Responsible Play

No Real Money. No Gambling.
Internet Solitaire is a free skill and entertainment game. You cannot wager money, win money, or lose money on this site. There are no in-app purchases, virtual currencies, loot boxes, or pay-to-win mechanics. The games are free — full stop.
Internet Solitaire does not constitute gambling under any jurisdiction's definition.
Healthy Play Habits
Card games like solitaire are a great way to relax and keep the mind active. As with any leisure activity, balance is important.
A few tips for healthy play:
- Set a time limit — Decide in advance how long you'll play and stick to it. The game will be here when you come back.
- Take breaks — Step away from the screen regularly. Your eyes and posture will thank you.
- Play for enjoyment, not compulsion — If you find yourself playing out of habit rather than enjoyment, it may be worth taking a break.
- Keep it in perspective — Not every game is winnable. Studies suggest around 79–82% of Klondike deals can theoretically be won with perfect play. A loss is not a failure — it may simply be an unwinnable deal.
If Play Feels Problematic
If you feel that gaming is interfering with your daily life, relationships, or responsibilities, support is available. While solitaire is not gambling, habitual or compulsive gaming can still be worth addressing.
